HEALTH SERVICES: ELECTRAL DERMAL SCREENING

When you schedule your first appointment we will give or send you a Symptom Survey form. This form contains several questions offering insight into the health or struggle of your body systems, organs, and glands. During your appointment I will review your answers and ask additional questions as needed. Everything you say, write down, or take as supplements is confidential and your privacy is respected. Your appointment will also involve an Electral Dermal Screening which allows me to conduct an "interview" with the body's organs and tissues, showing much about the functional status of those areas. EDS measures electrical currents in the body, much like an EKG machine measures the electrical activity of the heart.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Both the client and the technician are seated at a desk with a computer, EDS unit, metal bar, and flat-tipped probe. A very small amount of electricity (not enough to feel) is put into the body when the client holds the small metal/ copper rod. The amount is just enough to energize the acupuncture points for a reading. Using a small, flat-tipped probe I will apply a small amount of pressure to the corresponding acupuncture points located on the hands and feet. At no time are needles used in electro-dermal screening. The skin is never pierced or punctured. Aside from removing your shoes and socks, you remain dressed during the screening.

It really amounts to a physical from a Chinese point of view. Using Chinese acupuncture points known and recognized for thousands of years, energy levels are measured and recorded as they relate to various organs and organ systems. Using the information gathered I will make supplement, nutritional, homeopathic, and therapy recommendations. Please allow 2 hours for your first appointment and 1 hour for re-testing.

With trillions of cells and often years of dis-ease it is unreasonable to expect your body to heal itself overnight! Re-tests are usually scheduled 8-12 weeks apart. Sometimes short or quick tests are used at sooner intervals. How often and how long depends on your body’s ability to respond and what imbalances your body is facing at the moment.
