The Eclipse light therapy product is a new generation of non-invasive, health enhancement tools. It offers a unique combination of technologies derived from the electro-magnetic spectrum. The Eclipse uses Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) in the red, blue, and near infrared range for a broad band of coverage from the light spectrum. And, in addition to light, it emits 4 specific sound frequencies. These do not emit audible sounds, but they are "heard" at the cellular level, bringing them into balance! These frequencies work along with the light waves to provide more frequency "information" to the cells. And, finally, a unique, hi-intensity cluster of red LEDs create a powerful field of monochromatic light and are used for applying heat directly into the local area being treated. Heat increases circulation and pain relief. It is adjustable as to the level of heat and may be turned very low for certain applications (i.e., fresh sprains when icing is recommended). This red wavelength is also known for its effectiveness as monochromatic light therapy.

Research worldwide has been supporting the use of light therapies. It is being called photo-stimulation or bio-stimulation. Cells are responsive to all the wavelengths of light. But certain wavelengths have been shown to create specific cellular responses, "...such as increasing adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the form of energy that the cells utilize. Eclipse - Uses
The recommended uses for the Eclipse are: acute and chronic pain conditions (such as muscle injuries, tendonitis, bursitis, & sprains), TMJ, shoulder and neck pain, arthritis, neuralgia, overuse pain, tension headaches, women's pain needs, first-aid for insect bites, cuts, bruises, dental procedures and surgeries. It can also help with the repair of injuries to tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and nerves. It even assists with rebounding from everyday stress and strain, discomforts from flu and colds, and enhancing sports performance. The Eclipse is also used to enhance the healing process for many chronic health conditions, especially when they are being addressed through holistic, naturopathic-type therapies. • Red Light: Red Light is known for its ability to stimulate collagen production and increase fibroblast production, allowing for healing activity to increase. The red light modulates (carries) a specific sound frequency for better effect.
• Infrared Light: is known for its positive effects upon pain and swelling. This infrared LED is at a 940nM wavelength. It modulates (carries) another sound frequency that contributes to the results.
• Blue Light: has the ability to stimulate the cells to increase the enzyme production for intercellular energy (ATP or adenosine triphosphate). When modulated with the proper frequency, this wavelength helps with healing of local areas and with pain relief.
• Sound Frequencies: are a source of information for cells and body systems and are a part of the mechanism of how our cells communicate with each other. The Eclipse is designed to generate these non-audible sounds, in conjunction with the light sources, to supply more information to cells for healing. Precautions: Do not leave the treatment head in one place on the skin for longer than 10 minutes. The heat that is emitted may cause discomfort. Heat may be contra-indicated in some conditions. Check with your doctor. Do not leave unattended with children, or persons with certain disabilities. Light emissions are set at safe levels for short term use. However, these may cause discomfort if used for too long a time period. Do not use directly over the eyes, or during pregnancy. User's manual contains complete information.
